I recently read an interesting article about change, as related to health issues. I was surprised to note that some of the challenges we have when introducing change into our lives (for example, starting to exercise or eat healthier) also occur when we try to manage change in the workplace.
For example, when I started running, I had to carefully manage that change in myself. When we assist companies with implementing new CRM strategies, we run into (no pun intended!) similar issues with change – resistance, exhaustion, various problems, etc.
The article references the book “Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard” by Chip and Dan Heath and reveals three surprising characteristics of change.
