Blytheco Spreads Hope During the Holidays

Amidst the hustle and bustle of end-of-year business activities, corporate parties and personal get-togethers, Blytheco team members across a number of our local offices made time to  participate in local charitable activities:

ATLANTA

#BlythecoATL team members participated in an Angel Tree program sponsored through The Salvation Army.  Children from families who are receiving some sort of government assistance (Medicaid, Section 8 Housing, Food assistance, etc.) are “adopted.”  Volunteers assist with providing clothes and a wish item.  The Atlanta team helped out by purchasing items for a 4-year-old girl named Mariah.  She received several outfits of clothing and a lovely doll house (her wish item) for Christmas.

LAGUNA HILLS

The #BlythecoOC office participated in their local Toys for Tots drive, sponsored by neighboring business Farmers Insurance.  Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. Collections started around Thanksgiving and concluded on December 20th.

MINNESOTA

#BlythecoMN also participated in their local Toys for Tots program, but they did something different.  On December 15th, they came together for lunch and then went shopping for the gifts.  Team member Amber’s son Asher came along as their resident expert to help pick out gifts kids would like!  The team was able to load up on a cart full of toys and crafts to inspire kids’ creativity.

TAMPA

#BlythecoFL started kicked off the holiday season with their charitable event.  All throughout November, the team collected canned goods such as pasta, meats, fish, beans, chili, fruit, and soup.  Then just ahead of Thanksgiving, they donated their collections to OldsmarCares.org, benefiting needy families in their area.
