ASQ Conference Features Food, Drug, Cosmetic Experts
With so much news and information to keep up with in food lately, it’s a challenge to always be current on the issues that impact you the most. One important way to stay relevant and keep learning is to attend events and seminars. While on-site events can take you away from your office and require a little travel time, they are often a great way to have direct contact with experts in the field, build your knowledge quickly, get access to important resources to help do your job better AND network with your peers to learn how they are handling challenges in their business.
One such food industry event is the upcoming Quality and Safety Conference hosted by The American Society for Quality Food, Drug and Cosmetic Division (ASQ) in collaboration with the Food Industry Business Roundtable, Southern California Institute of Food Technologists, Southern California Association of Food Protections and the Disneyland Resort, June 11-13, 2014. I’m excited to be a part of this important 3-day event where experts from industry, academia and regulatory agencies will discuss the impact of changing rules covering food, ingredients, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements and medical foods.
And the best news of all – it’s held at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. This unique learning experience will feature beginner, intermediate and advanced tracks on topics like the Food Safety Modernization Act, dietary supplements, sanitation monitoring and food borne diseases.
My friends at Blytheco are a Silver Sponsor of the Event. They will be sharing their expertise around the role of technology in compliance and quality assurance. And I will be a meeting facilitator – I look forward to meeting you there.
