As many of you are already aware, Sage announced last week that two of their CRM products -SalesLogix and ACT!, have been sold to SwiftPage, a industry leading marketing automation company. This move was in large part due to the challenge of maintaining effective branding and marketing penetration across multiple CRM products lines. Sage’s diverse portfolio includes various small to mid-market CRM products consisting of SageCRM, Sage SalesLogix and Sage ACT!. Sage has done a tremendous job in investing R&D resources toward the enhancements and modernization of all of these CRM products over the years. Many of you have seen the recent progress they have made with enhancements to the mobility and analytics of these CRM products.
As a long-time partner of SalesLogix and ACT!, Blytheco will remain committed to providing value added services and support for the SalesLogix and ACT! products. We believe these two CRM offerings are market leaders and will continue to be into the future, as evidenced by Gartner’s CRM magic quadrant. We are enthusiastic about the new investments that will be made in these two CRM main staples by Swiftpage.
The new owner, SwiftPage, is not new to the CRM space. They have been a long-time premier partner of Blytheco. SwiftPage’s history is based on industry-leading marketing automation, leveraging SalesLogix and ACT! during their tremendous growth in the last decade. Because of their alliance with Sage, Swiftpage has a very thorough understanding of Sage’s customers, partners and markets that SalesLogix and ACT! serve. We are excited about their commitment and focus and believe this will be a huge benefit to our valued clients.
During the next couple of months, Sage and SwiftPage will finalize the transaction, though it is still subject to certain regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. During the transaction, we expect everything will remain “status quo” as it pertains to support from Sage. After the finalization of the transaction, support and product development will transition to SwiftPage. Blytheco will be working closely with Sage and Swiftpage to make sure this move is as smooth and transparent to our clients as possible.
